Always an avid cyclist, Kathy dipped her toe into the world of multi-sport in 2000, first competing in Duathlons then eventually moving to Triathlons a few years later challenging herself to overcome her fear of swimming in Open water. Kathy was hooked, competing in several races a year and qualifying for Nationals in her age group in 2014. She took an unexpected break from Triathlons in November, 2017 after she had to have a total hip replacement of her left hip. 8 months later she was back at it competing in her first Triathlon finishing 7th in her age group and hiking the Grand Canyon. She returned 1 1/2 years later to do 2 more Sprint distance races winning 2nd place in her age group and qualifying once again for the Nationals in her age group during the second race.

She is still training the same clients 15-20 years later and continues to train a variety of clients including students, stay-at-home-moms, professionals and even elite athletes. Kathy’s mantra is “Fitness starts in your Head”, once you make up your mind that you want to get healthy your body will follow.
